If you are unable to appear when scheduled, please call or come in to make arrangements at least 24 hours before your scheduled appearance.

The responsibilities for the Mountainair Municipal Court include:

• Providing adjudication of all violations of all Town Ordinances and criminal offenses
• Arraigning persons cited for Municipal Ordinances violations
• Accepting pleas
• Conducting trials
• Assessing fines and sentences to persons guilty of violating Municipal Ordinances
• Collecting and recording fines
• Answering questions related to the function of the court system
• Providing Town Administrators with information from the Court as necessary
